Have we ever heard someone saying that “I love the smell of chlorine”? No chance-isn’t it? But the Government authorities and water suppliers dissolve chlorine in the water for removing bacteria and makes the water pure. It is all ok but who can tolerate the smell? Also, I believe it is harmful to our skin because it absorbs 70% of the available chlorine in water when take showers using chlorinated water.
My friend Liudmila has found out a special filter called Pink shower and bath filters of friendsofwater.com. She says that these filters remove 99% of chlorine from the water that you use in the house, and you can be sure you are drinking and using healthy water. Visiting the site you will find complete Pink Shower & Bath Filter Information.
Our weekly home cleaning routine involve bathroom cleaning also. Of course, we engage outside help but that person has his own limitations and so to our cleaning tools.
For example, clogged drains is a perennial problem for most of us. We have tried some chemicals to put in the drain but that have its limitations. No chemical can remove hair that lays tangled inside the drain.
Today, I have found out a tool that will remove tangled hair from the drain. There is a tool called Flexisnake. It comes with a piece of Velcro at the end to pull hair out of a sink drain.
Just slide FlexiSnake into the drain opening, twist and pull. It’s fast , it’s safe and it’s inexpensive. Yes it is less than $10.00
In any house, the most prominent thing is the weather-vanes. This taste of mine might be very odd to you. You might notice the mailbox first; some might be attracted by the design of the front grill gate.
For me, it is always the weather vane. It seems to escape the attention of almost everybody. My friends used to ask me how I am the only one pointing to the weather vane.
A weather vane, also called a wind vane, is a movable device attached to an elevated object such as a roof for showing the direction of the wind.
How do you like to place the weather-vane as the one in the picture above? It is made of solid copper rods and the upper portion is made of stained glass.
It is available at Weathervane.com for $280 after a discount of $70.
