Walking along the bustling Pondy Bazzar, one can’t help noticing those green pot plants with dazzling flowers and rare colored leaves.
But living in apartments has its own disadvantage. You can only appreciate greens else where but can’t dream of nurturing them at our dingy apartments where space and sunlight are at a premium.
Look at this technology where a plant is controlled by a robot which moves around to find where the sun shines best for the plant it holds.
Amazing idea and great invention really.
This robot literally moves on its legs along with the plant to the brightly spot thus helping the plant to get more the required sunlight.
This is still in concept level at present.

HGTV Market Place is the Internet resource for items used on its shows. Once you find the product, the site whisks you to a Web page where you can make a purchase. This shopper’s guide features everything from lighting fixtures to toasters to Italian faucets.
I am sorry I don’t recall from where I collected the above information but I think it is from a press release. Somehow I have remembered to save it for future use like this.
The range of products is quite big; floor and wall coverings, home accessories, furniture and so on.
But I think the products are costly. For example, just a throw cushion like you see in every house costs $89. Don’t you think it is unnecessarily expensive?

Who says water drops are required to see rainbow in the horizon? Modern technology has devised a gadget that brings rainbow into your living room or bedroom without a trace of rain outside.
This is that gadget-a simple looking heart shaped pendant. Just hang out this pendant on a window that receives sunlight directly and let the Swarvosky crystal do the rest. It will rotate and throw the rainbow colors in your room.
I will definitely buy this the moment it is available in India. It also makes a wonderful gift.
Is it an art of Feng Shui?

My brother-in-law has started painting his house two days before. He consulted me on different wall textures that he intends to decorate his house with.
His present wall structure though nice looking, peels of in two years. I think the heat in Madras is the culprit.
I told him that instead of engaging painters to the do the job, he can do it on his own by employing hopper gun and create beautiful and colorful textures in the fine look of granite.
Aura-Tex can be an ideal solution.
